Reading Guides

Here is where various reading guides I’ve written can be found. They range in depth from comprehensive to short bibliographical sketches, and are designed both for the amateur to begin studying a new philosopher as well as for my own use as a reference guide (that is, building a repository of where to find what in where).

There are many I’d love to do–I’d be happy getting paid to write these for the rest of my life. I am attempting to be selective and focus on both philosophers I know well enough to write on, as well as those who don’t already have an accessible guide or path out there. So, unfortunately, no guide on Marx as I will in no way write something better than what many others have written and are writing, but also no guide on Descartes, as you can pick up the Meditations or Discourse on Method and go from there.
